UOC believers to continue prayer vigil at the Lavra in the new year
Despite adverse weather conditions, the faithful of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church continue to gather for prayer in defense of the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra.
On January 2, 2024, the faithful of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church resumed their prayer standing at the walls of the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra, as reported by "Pershy Kozatsky".
Despite strong winds and cold weather, several dozen believers gathered near the church dedicated to the Venerable Agapitus of the Caves. Led by a priest, they recited prayers and akathists.
Earlier, the UOJ reported that, according to a parishioner of the UOC, Ksenia, God's grace helps the defenders of the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra overcome difficulties.
