Greek priests to be let into temples if they have a vaccination certificate
Clergy and chanters who will attend worship services must be vaccinated or tested negative for coronavirus.
In Greece, the cathedrals of the metropolitanates will be opened only for three main holidays: the Triumph of Orthodoxy, the Akathist to the Most Holy Theotokos and the Annunciation. At the same time, priests and singers will be allowed into churches if they have a vaccination certificate or a negative express test for coronavirus, romfea.gr reports.
As the UOJ previously reported, in Greece, a priest interrupted the liturgy and called the police because people were not wearing masks.
