The hearings will take place on September 4 and 5.

On September 4 and 5, court hearings will be held at the Northern Commercial Court of Appeal in Kyiv regarding the Upper and Lower Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra. This was announced by UOC lawyer Archpriest Nikita Chekman on his Telegram channel.

"Dear friends, tomorrow, September 4, 2024, at 14:30, a court hearing will take place regarding the Upper Lavra; on September 5, 2024, at 12:00, a court hearing will be held regarding the eviction of monks from the Lower Lavra," the message reads.

Father Nikita asked the faithful for their prayers and support.

As previously reported by the Union of Orthodox Journalists, on August 5, another court hearing was held regarding the obstruction of UOC believers' access to the churches of the Upper Lavra in the Kyiv-Pechersk Monastery. Earlier, on August 1, the Northern Commercial Court of Appeal in Kyiv heard a case concerning the eviction of monks from the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra (Lower Lavra). Both hearings were postponed.
