The president claims that the entire population is against the Moscow Patriarchate.
In an interview with British journalist Piers Morgan, Volodymyr Zelensky responded to Tucker Carlson's accusation of dictatorship and banning a religious denomination.
According to Zelensky, Carlson, when speaking about the ban, is repeating Putin’s narratives.
"These are all lies. That is Putin’s narrative. Putin has a narrative about the Moscow Patriarchate, about the Russian Church. Putin has a narrative about elections, about my illegitimacy, about dictatorship. That says a person who has been in power for 30 years, a bloody dictator, a murderer who violated Ukraine’s territorial integrity. As for denominations, as for elections – this is all Putin’s narrative," Zelensky stated.
He also assured that "all the population is against the Moscow Patriarchate," apparently referring to the UOC.
Earlier, the UOJ reported that, according to Carlson, Zelensky is a dictator because he banned a religious denomination.
