Roman Hryshchuk organizes illegal meetings to “transfer” UOC churches to the OCU. However, since 2018, he has not managed to transfer his own community from the UOC-KP.

The infamous “priest” Roman Hryshchuk has organized numerous illegal meetings for the “transition” of territorial communities to the OCU under the guise of UOC parishes. It turned out that he is a cleric of the Kyiv Patriarchate.

This is evidenced by data from Opendatabot – a service that provides access to state data from key public registers.

According to the platform, as of February 15, 2025, Roman Hryshchuk is the founder and head of the active religious community of the Church of Equal-to-the-Apostles Princess Olga in the town of Hlyboka, Chernivtsi-Bukovyna Diocese of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the Kyiv Patriarchate. The community was founded on July 20, 2000.

Similar information is provided on the online platform YouControl. As of February 14, 2025, the Princess Olga community in Hlyboka, headed by Hryshchuk, is a structural unit of the UOC-KP.

Thus, it can be concluded that Roman Hryshchuk has no affiliation with the OCU but is a cleric of the UOC-KP, led by Filaret Denysenko.

Earlier, the UOJ reported that in Hlyboka, thousands of UOC believers were not allowed to attend a meeting on the “transfer” to the OCU organized by Hryshchuk.
