All UOC сhurches to pray for peace in Ukraine on war outbreak anniversary
The Ukrainian Orthodox Church will also hold memorial services for those who died.
On the third anniversary of Russia’s full-scale invasion, the Ukrainian Orthodox Church (UOC) will offer special prayers for peace in Ukraine and for its defenders, the UOC Information and Education Department reports.
Molebens and memorial services for those who died in the war will be held on February 24 in all churches and monasteries of the UOC, with the blessing of His Beatitude Metropolitan Onuphry of Kyiv and All Ukraine.
The Kyiv Metropolia Chancellery has sent a corresponding circular to all diocesan bishops of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church.
As previously reported by the UOJ, media outlets have stated that Donald Trump wants to ensure a ceasefire in Ukraine by Easter.
