TRC releases previously detained priest of UOC's Ovruch Eparchy

Believers are thanked for their support and prayers.
On February 21, 2025, representatives of the Military Enlistment Office (TRC) released Priest Pavlo Kushnirchuk, a cleric of the Ovruch Eparchy of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church (UOC). This was announced by his wife, Nataliia Kushnirchuk, on Facebook.
According to her, Father Pavlo is on his way home.
"We thank each and every one of you for your support and prayers. May the Lord bless you with peace, health, and prosperity for many years. God save you," wrote Nataliia Kushnirchuk.
As previously reported by the UOJ, the priest was detained on February 19 and initially sent to the Chernihiv direction, then later to Zhytomyr. Father Pavlo’s wife had called on believers to spread information about his abduction.
