An OCU "priest" claimed that Metropolitan Arseniy of Sviatohirsk allegedly directed Russian weaponry at Ukraine.

The controversial OCU "priest" Roman Hryshchuk, who played a key role in the "transfer" of many UOC churches in Bukovyna, has accused Metropolitan Arseniy of Sviatohirsk of mass murder of Ukrainians.

On his Facebook page, Hryshchuk claimed that the archbishop − who has been held in Dnipro pre-trial detention for nearly a year − is serving "deserved punishment," which, in the "priest’s" view, is "very lenient for a crime of such magnitude." The OCU cleric assured readers that Metropolitan Arseny is "not imprisoned for believing in God, but for knowingly and continuously working for the occupier."

Referring to a missile strike on Dnipro, Hryshchuk claimed that "hundreds of Ukrainians were killed by the Russians with Arseny’s assistance and targeting."

However, he did not specify what exact "targeting actions" Metropolitan Arseny allegedly committed or which "hundreds of Ukrainians" he was responsible for. Elsewhere, Hryshchuk suggested that the archbishop was "imprisoned for collaborationist activities, for betraying the locations of Ukrainian troops, for pro-Russian and anti-Ukrainian sermons, and for working for Moscow!"

Earlier, the UOJ reported that Hryshchuk assured everyone of his mental health and even presented a medical certificate.
