The UOC plans to collect 2,000 Easter cakes for children from displaced families, orphanages, rehabilitation centers, and children with disabilities.

The Ukrainian Orthodox Church has launched its traditional charity campaign, "Easter Gift for Children", dedicated to the celebration of Holy Pascha.

With the blessing of His Beatitude Metropolitan Onuphry, the UOC’s Social Department invites everyone to join the initiative and help collect 2,000 Easter cakes (paskas) for children from displaced families, orphanages, rehabilitation centers, and children with disabilities.

"The bright feast of Pascha is approaching. Unfortunately, many children cannot share the joy of this day with their families. We plan to collect 2,000 Easter cakes for those in need and to send them to frontline regions and Kherson. Help us make this holiday special for every child!" the UOC's Social Department urged.

To carry out this initiative, 120,000 UAH needs to be raised. Donations will be accepted until April 10, 2025. Full donation details are available on the official resources of the UOC Social Department.

Earlier, it was reported that in Kyiv, the UOC's Social Department congratulated orphans and their guardians on Christmas.
