On the feast of the Synaxis of All Venerable Fathers of the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra, Archbishop Pimen of Rivne stated in his sermon that prayer must be heard in churches, and that state authorities should focus on governmental matters rather than interfering in Church affairs.
"We pray and ask the Lord to grant us the light of truth. May the Lord open the Holy Lavra for us all, so that we may go there.
