As a result of the city’s shelling in 2022, 27 people were killed and 202 were wounded.
On July 14, 2025, on the third anniversary of the Russian military’s shelling of Vinnytsia, prayers were offered in all the city’s churches for the residents who died. This was reported by the press service of the Vinnytsia Eparchy.
“May the Lord grant rest to the souls of all our compatriots killed at the hands of the Russian invaders, and grant healing to all Ukrainians wounded by the war,” the statement said.
As a reminder, the missile strike on Vinnytsia on July 14, 2022, killed 27 people, wounded 202, and left 8 missing. A UOC church was also damaged, and the priest’s son was injured.
