As the people protest, Zelensky continues his persecution of UOC – Amsterdam
Amsterdam reminded that the accusations against the UOC are baseless and politically motivated.
Amid widespread public protests against corruption in the Ukrainian government, President Volodymyr Zelensky is intensifying pressure on the Ukrainian Orthodox Church (UOC), according to UOC attorney Robert Amsterdam.
He stated that "as the people protest his corruption, President Zelensky is continuing his persecution of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church, with biased government-appointed “experts” making claims of affiliation with Russia.”
Amsterdam recalled that in a previously released White Paper, he thoroughly refuted such accusations, demonstrating their lack of substance and political motivation.
Earlier, the UOJ reported that, according to Amsterdam, Ukraine is a risky investment due to its repressive actions against the Church.
