Constantinople Church Synod invites Metropolitan Tychikos to its session
The Synod of the Ecumenical Patriarchate will review the case of Metropolitan Tychikos of Paphos.
On August 29, 2025, under the chairmanship of Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew, a session of the Holy Synod of the Church of Constantinople was held, reports the UOJ in Greece.
The main item on the agenda was the consideration of the appeal filed by Metropolitan Tychikos of Paphos. The Synod decided to invite the hierarch to attend its meeting in mid-October 2025.
The work of the Holy Synod will continue on August 30.
Earlier, the UOJ reported that Metropolitan Tychikos of Cyprus had submitted an appeal to the Ecumenical Patriarch.
