Trump to receive Patriarch Bartholomew in USA
Patriarch Bartholomew will receive a $15 million award.
On September 15, 2025, Patriarch Bartholomew has a meeting with President Donald Trump in the United States, reports Helleniscope. It is noted that the meeting was unexpectedly rescheduled at the last minute — from September 16 to the 15th.
The publication also reports that while in the U.S., Patriarch Bartholomew will receive the $15 million Templeton Foundation Prize. The award ceremony will be held behind closed doors.
Earlier, the UOJ reported that Patriarch Bartholomew would travel to the U.S. to receive an environmental protection award.
