The shrine was delivered to St. Nicholas Cathedral with the blessing of the abbot of the Pochaiv Lavra.

A reliquary containing particles of the relics of Venerable Job and Amphilochius of Pochaiv was brought from the Holy Dormition Pochaiv Lavra to St. Nicholas Cathedral in Khmelnytskyi, the eparchial press service reports.

The ceremonial reception of the shrine took place with a large gathering of faithful and clergy on the eve of the feast day of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker. The holy relics were delivered to the cathedral by the abbot of the monastery, Metropolitan Volodymyr of Pochaiv.

“Their prayer even today remains a source of hope, consolation, and spiritual strengthening for all who come to them with faith and turn to them,” the eparchial press service said.

The Khmelnytskyi Eparchy invites all faithful to come for veneration, to pray to the great saints, and to ask for their intercession, spiritual support, and peace.

That evening, Metropolitan Volodymyr, concelebrating with Metropolitan Filaret of Lviv and Galicia and Metropolitan Viktor of Khmelnytskyi and Starokostiantyniv, led the festive all-night vigil on the occasion of the cathedral’s patronal feast.

As previously reported, a large cross procession with the relics of Venerable Job took place in Pochaiv.
