Amsterdam: Ukraine and Armenia use Bolshevik methods to destroy the Church
The lawyer said that under the pretext of an “anti-Russian stance”, the governments of Zelenskyy and Pashinyan are employing undemocratic methods against the Church.
International human rights lawyer Robert Amsterdam stated that, under the guise of an “anti-Russian position,” the governments of Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Nikol Pashinyan are using Bolshevik-style methods to destroy the Ukrainian Orthodox Church and the Armenian Apostolic Church. According to the lawyer, the actions of Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan “resemble Bolshevik methods of destroying the Church.”
He stressed that the authorities are “trying to cloak themselves in ‘anti-Russian’ policy” and described this trend as a “new cloak of impunity” – one that "grants autocrats superpowers" to trample democratic standards and freedom of speech.
