UOC Social Department delivers gifts to girls at children’s home in Kyiv
Staff of the UOC Social Department visited the Darnytsia children’s residential home and delivered gifts to the girls and the staff.
On January 30, 2026, in Kyiv, staff of the Social Department of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church visited the Darnytsia children’s residential home and delivered gifts to its residents. This was reported by the UOC Social Department.
During the visit, the girls and the institution’s staff were presented with 120 sweet gift sets prepared with the support of donors.
The head of the Department of Social Ministry and Charity of the Kyiv Eparchy, Archpriest Andrii Dvorovyi, noted that such visits are meant to remind children that they are not left without attention and care.
According to him, the gifts were a sign of love and mercy from people who responded to the call to help, as well as an expression of prayerful support for the children in the institution.
The UOC Social Department thanked the leadership of the children’s home, the caregivers, and all benefactors for their cooperation and for the opportunity to bring the children joy.
Earlier, the UOJ reported that in Rivne, the UOC held a charity festival to support children with cancer.
