Footage from "Suspilne Chernihiv" shows about 10 people at the Sunday service of the OCU in the Transfiguration Cathedral in Chernihiv.

"Suspilne Chernihiv" journalists published a news report about the current situation around the Trinity Cathedral in Chernihiv, which was transferred to the OCU after the expulsion of the UOC community.

In the footage from the Sunday "liturgy" shot by journalists, about 10 people are standing in the huge cathedral.

"Bishop" of the OCU Antony Firlei complained that he has to pay the state about 25 thousand per month for rent, but he hopes to negotiate with the Ministry of Culture so that the OCU can use the Trinity Cathedral for free.

"The state adopted a law on free use by religious organizations. Now we are working with the Ministry of Culture, with the state Reserve 'Ancient Chernihiv' precisely to use it to the fullest extent and so that divine services can be performed here in full," Firlei reported.

Earlier, the UOJ wrote that drama theater artists danced in front of the holy relics in the Trinity Cathedral of Chernihiv.
