Oleksandr Usyk explained why the heroization of nationalists is destroying relations between Ukraine and Poland.

Boxer Oleksandr Usyk in a conversation with pranksters posing as Polish President Karol Nawrocki, openly stated that he does not share Volodymyr Zelensky's position on the heroization of Stepan Bandera, and called this policy a serious threat to Ukrainian-Polish relations.

According to Usyk, it was precisely because of this problem that he initially refused to meet with President Zelensky.

"When I directly asked him what he intended to do about the heroization of nationalists, he replied: 'Bandera is our hero.' For me, Bandera is not a hero. My heroes are my father, my mother, people who are now supporting my country," the boxer said.

He also stated that he does not consider Zelensky his friend.

Earlier, the UOJ wrote that Usyk financed the restoration of the Shukhevych Museum.
