Archbishop Jonah officiated at the funeral rite for the newly departed warrior Heorhii, son of Hierodeacon Mitrofan.

At Kyiv's St. Jonas Monastery, Archbishop Jonah of Obukhiv presided over the funeral service for the warrior Heorhii, the son of Hierodeacon Mitrofan, the hierarch reported on his Facebook page.

Heorhii served in the Azov Regiment. “It is a terrible thing when a father has to bury his son,” Archbishop Jonah wrote.
