The Ukrainian Embassy performed a ceremony at the Wailing Wall in Jerusalem.

In the "very heart of Jerusalem" – at the Western Wall (also known as the Weiling Wall) – a prayer for Ukraine took place, the Embassy of Ukraine in Israel reports on their initiative on their official Facebook page.

The "Prayer for Ukraine" was held at the Western Wall for the fourth time. It is stated that embassy diplomats participated in it together with the community, Ukrainian Jews and friends of Ukraine.

They unfurled a thirty-meter Ukrainian flag, which according to the diplomats is "a symbol of our unity and resilience."

"More than one and a half hundred participants joined the event. Israelis and city guests warmly received the initiative, expressed support and solidarity and prayed for peace and Ukraine's victory together with us," the ministry wrote.

As the UOJ reported, Jerusalem opened a Second Temple-era pilgrimage road.
