Dumenko holds religious events at Lavra's Warm Church
Dumenko held an event at the Warm Church of the Lavra for the first time, announcing plans to "return" the shrine under the control of his structure.
On March 8, 2026, the head of the OCU Epifaniy Dumenko conducted a "prayer for Ukraine" at the Church of All the Venerable Fathers of the Caves, located on the territory of the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra, reports the OCU's press service.
According to the head of the OCU, his structure is doing everything possible to "free" the shrine from the "artificially imposed yoke of the 'Russian world'". Dumenko also expressed "spiritual joy" about the fact that the Caves of the Venerable Anthony and the shrines located there are "once again open for prayer and veneration". After his speech, he went down into the caves to the relics of the Venerable Fathers and anointed the participants of the event with "consecrated oil".
Representatives of the OCU used the Church of All the Venerable Fathers of the Caves, located on the territory of the Lower Lavra, for their needs for the first time, although they had previously conducted "services" in other facilities of the Lavra.
Earlier, the UOJ wrote that "parishioners" were brought from other regions to Dumenko's "service" at the Lavra.
