In Dubove, persecuted parish holds its first Paschal service in house church
Believers of the Bukovynian Holy Trinity Church of the UOC prayerfully celebrated the Resurrection of Christ.
On the night of April 12, 2026, the persecuted community of the Holy Trinity Church in the village of Dubove of the Storozhynets Deanery of the Chernivtsi Eparchy celebrated the Divine Liturgy on the Feast of Christ's Resurrection, reports a UOJ correspondent.
This was the first nighttime Paschal service that the faithful celebrated in the house church.
In the video, parishioners shared how the festive service went.
As a reminder, OCU supporters seized the church in Dubove on January 18, 2025. The vote to transfer the church took place without the participation of the parishioners themselves. A frontline AFU soldier and believers from abroad helped to set up the new premises for divine services.
