Zelensky thanks UCCRO members for their “work for victory”
The president discussed support for soldiers and national unity with the Council of Churches.
On April 13, 2026, Volodymyr Zelensky held a meeting with members of the All-Ukrainian Council of Churches and Religious Organizations, according to a Facebook post by DESS.
The head of state congratulated those present on the holidays and thanked them for supporting both servicemen and civilians. He stressed the particular importance of unity between the authorities and religious communities in wartime.
“I want to thank you for the fact that our Council of Churches, like every person in our state, is working for victory, supporting our soldiers and civilians – all the people of Ukraine who need your support and your prayers,” Volodymyr Zelensky said.
In closing, the president promised that state authorities would review all the requests raised during the meeting and voiced support for initiatives aimed at strengthening assistance to both the army and the civilian population.
Earlier, the UOJ reported that Zelensky had once again congratulated Ukrainians on Easter – this time, “on his own.”
