RF courts treat posting 666 number as Satanism propaganda
Users can now face an administrative fine or arrest for posting the “number of the beast” or pentagrams on social media.
A body of judicial practice has emerged in Russia under which posting the number 666 on social media is treated as propaganda of Satanism.
As RIA Novosti reports, courts may now impose a fine or administrative arrest for the public display of such symbols online.
In addition to the “number of the beast,” other prohibited imagery includes pentagrams and figures of Baphomet. Law enforcement authorities and the courts have classified them as visual variations directly associated with Satanist ideology.
Earlier, the UOJ reported that Roman Catholics had condemned a billionaire over lectures about the Antichrist.
