Sand for construction of Yermak’s residence brought from cemetery, MP says
MP Yaroslav Zhelezniak said that sand illegally removed from a cemetery in Ukrainka was used in the construction of the elite Dynasty cooperative in Kozyn.
MP Yaroslav Zhelezniak published a post on social media claiming that the sand used to build the elite Dynasty cooperative – where, according to law enforcement, hundreds of millions were laundered – had been illegally removed from the territory of a cemetery in Ukrainka. He reported this on Facebook.
The information was published in the context of criminal proceedings against former head of the Presidential Office Andriy Yermak. Investigators established that more than 726 cubic meters of sand were removed from the territory of the cemetery in Ukrainka and then transported to a site in Kozyn owned by Bloom Development LLC. The Dynasty cooperative was later built there – four residences worth about $2 million each, along with a spa complex.
The case also involves former Deputy Prime Minister Oleksiy Chernyshov and businessman Timur Mindich – all three have been served notices of suspicion. According to investigators, about €460 million was laundered through the financing of the construction. Investigators have not named another suspect, but law enforcement officials say he is referred to as Volodymyr.
According to statements by Zelensky’s former press secretary Yulia Mendel, Yermak practices magic. According to her source, Yermak’s magicians burn certain herbs, collect water from corpses, and make dolls, which he keeps in a special box.
As the UOJ reported, Yermak consulted a fortune-teller before important appointments.
