A woman required medical assistance as a result of aggressive actions by the raiders.
On June 4, 2026, in Kremenchug, representatives of the OCU with police support entered the building of the Trinity Cathedral. Radicals forcibly broke into the cathedral, citing court decisions on the community's transition to the jurisdiction of Epifaniy Dumenko. This is reported by "Kremenchug Telegraph".
Parishioners of both confessions gathered near Trinity Church, and clashes and scuffles began between them. OCU supporters shouted offensive slogans. During the confrontations, one of the women present became ill, and an ambulance crew was called to the scene.
Earlier, representatives of the OCU announced the storming of the cathedral immediately after the end of the Pentecost holiday, calling it a "gesture of good will".
As reported by the UOJ, the Kremenchug Eparchy commented on the situation around Trinity Cathedral, emphasizing that any issues must be resolved exclusively within the legal framework, in compliance with Ukrainian legislation and with respect for the religious rights of believers.
