In Poroshenko's party, they declared that the Word of God in the UOC is an "enemy bullet"
In "European Solidarity," they believe that the Word of God in the hands of a patriot is a shield, while in the mouth of a Moscow priest it is an enemy bullet.
A publication by the Ternopil branch of Petro Poroshenko's "European Solidarity" party has caused a scandal online. The authors wrote the following: "The Word of God in the hands of a patriot is a shield, while the word in the mouth of a Moscow priest is an enemy bullet!"
The comments on this statement were extremely negative.
"The Word of God in the hands of a patriot is blotting paper that will protect neither from wind nor from bullets!" believes Viktor Oleynik.
"Barabbas was a patriot whom the people chose to save, while they crucified Christ, whom they rejected," wrote Vlad Rusich.
"The Word of God cannot be in hands... Nonsense," writes Lilya Protsyuk.
"Can a person with a healthy psyche write such things?" asks Ekaterina Fairushina.
"They are still playing at patriotism! It's a pity that people fall for this!" writes Tanya Posunko.
The party did not respond to the comments.
Earlier, the Union of Orthodox Journalists reported that, according to a "European Solidarity" deputy, his party's goal is to ensure there are no UOC communities in the Kyiv region.
