Khmelnytskyi Eparchy delivers 20 tons of aid to hospitals and social institutions
Volunteers distributed a large humanitarian shipment among 16 medical and social institutions in the Khmelnytskyi region.
With the blessing of Metropolitan Victor of Khmelnytskyi and Starokostiantyniv, the Khmelnytskyi Eparchy of the UOC carried out a large-scale charitable initiative to support those in need. Throughout May and June 2026, Church representatives delivered humanitarian aid to institutions that care daily for the sick, the wounded, and the elderly.
In total, the diocese donated more than 20 tons of supplies. The shipment included 11 tons of clothing, footwear, and bedding, as well as 9 tons of medical consumables. The community carried out this work together with the charitable organization God Is with Us and the German-Ukrainian volunteer association Volia.
Aid was delivered to eight medical institutions in the region, including the regional hospital, the war veterans’ hospital, and district hospitals in Yarmolyntsi, Letychiv, Stara Syniava, Starokostiantyniv, Derazhnia, and Khmelnytskyi.
Another eight social institutions in the region received clothing and care products for those under their care. The eparchy thanked every volunteer and benefactor, noting the joy of being able to serve one’s neighbors in difficult times.
As the UOJ reported, UOC eparchies delivered aid to a rehabilitation center in Khmelnytskyi.
