Budanov presented with an icon painted on an armor plate
The ArtArmor team used armor to paint the icon and presented it to the head of the OP as a token of appreciation.
The ArtArmor team presented the head of the Office of the President Kyrylo Budanov with an icon of Saint Cyril of Alexandria, created on a protective armor plate.
The image was painted on a protective element that had previously saved the life of a Ukrainian serviceman. The entire creation process was accompanied by a chaplain of the Main Directorate of Intelligence. According to the organizers, the chaplain's participation imbued the work with deep spiritual meaning and made it a symbol of responsibility and service.
In the creators' view, Saint Cyril of Alexandria in this image embodies wisdom, self-sacrifice, and spiritual leadership. ArtArmor described the presentation of the icon as a sign of appreciation to all defenders and of deep respect for those who have dedicated their lives to serving the state.
As the SPJ reported, the Speaker of the House of Representatives was gifted a Ukrainian "icon" on a HIMARS lid.
