Diplomas Awarded to Graduates of the Icon-Painting School in Kamianets-Podilskyi

Metropolitan Feodor presented diplomas to five graduates of the Kamianets-Podilskyi Icon-Painting Theological School named after the Holy Apostle Luke. The solemn ceremony took place on July 12, 2026, in Kamianets-Podilskyi. This was reported by the school's website.
The conclusion of the academic year began with the Divine Liturgy in the Cathedral of Holy Prince Alexander Nevsky, led by Metropolitan Feodor of Kamianets-Podilskyi. In his homily, the hierarch noted that the ministry of icon-painting requires not only professional skill but also purity of heart and a spirit of prayer. Diplomas of the eighth graduating class were received by Arseniy Honcharuk, Kseniia Seniv, Oleksandra Syvakova, Mykola Skopchak, and Anna Shyshkovska, who completed the four-year course of study.
The graduates presented their diploma works on Theotokian, Christological, and festal themes, including the icons of the "Holy Trinity," the "Theophany," and the "Nativity of Christ." All projects received the highest evaluation from the school's examination commission.
As the Union of Orthodox Journalists (UOJ) previously reported, the Kamianets-Podilskyi Icon-Painting School had opened enrollment for a new academic year. The institution trains icon-painters for parishes of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church (UOC) and has already graduated eight classes of students.
