UOC faithful performed a religious procession to the Vysochynivka spring, where clergy served a water blessing moleben.
In the Kharkiv region, numerous faithful performed a religious procession to the site of the appearance of the Kazan-Vysochynivska Icon of the Mother of God. The traditional procession united clergy and laity of the Izium Diocese, who walked from the Holy Trinity Church in the city of Zmiyiv to the holy spring in the village of Vysochynivka. This was reported by the Izium Diocese.
On July 21, 2026, by the blessing of Archbishop John of Izium and Kupyansk, festive celebrations were held in the Zmiyiv deanery. After arriving at the site where the icon was found, the clergy served a water blessing moleben at the holy spring. The dean of the district congratulated the rector and parishioners of the Vysochynivka church, and also conveyed the congratulations of the ruling hierarch to all the faithful.
After the conclusion of the prayer, pilgrims were given the opportunity to immerse themselves in the waters of the spring for spiritual and bodily strengthening. The festive day concluded with a communal meal and entertainment activities for Sunday school pupils.
