A presentation of radical combat units was held in the Refectory Church of the Lavra
Within the walls of the Lavra, a combat corps was presented for those who perceive war as a responsibility before God.
A combat "Christian Corps" was presented in the Refectory Church of the Kyiv Pechersk Lavra. Representatives of the radical groups "Bratstvo," "Revansh," and other formations gathered within the walls of the ancient shrine, having decided to create a unified platform to coordinate their activities. This was reported by UNIAN.
The organizers opened the meeting with a video address by the head of the Office of the President, Kyrylo Budanov. He approved the creation of the new union and reminded those present of the importance of supporting defenders. The "Christian Corps" also includes the special unit "Stuhna," the association "Tradition and Order," the group of "Belarusian Volunteers," and the "Company of Jesus Christ."
The commander of "Bratstvo," Oleksiy Seredyuk, described the union as a platform for interaction among those who "share a common vision of military service as a responsibility before God." At the same time, the participants stated that their activities would not be limited to the front. In the rear, the radicals intend to promote their own legislative initiatives, engage in legal assistance, and carry out medical projects.
The event at the Refectory Church was accompanied by a musical concert, and the presentation itself concluded with a communal prayer and piano performance.
As the Union of Orthodox Journalists reported, Korchynsky called on the Ministry of Culture to "decolonize" the UOC church near the Lavra.
