A combat corps for those who view war as a responsibility before God was presented within the walls of the Lavra.

The combat-oriented Christian Corps was presented at the Refectory Church of the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra. Representatives of the radical groups Bratstvo, Revansh, and several other formations gathered inside the ancient shrine to establish a unified platform for coordinating their activities, UNIAN reports.

The event opened with a video address from Kyrylo Budanov, head of Ukraine's Defense Intelligence (HUR). He welcomed the creation of the new alliance and stressed the importance of supporting Ukraine's defenders. The Christian Corps also includes the Stuhna special unit, the Tradition and Order organization, a group of Belarusian volunteers, and the Jesus Christ Company.

Bratstvo commander Oleksii Serediuk described the new association as a platform for cooperation among those who "share a common vision of military service as a responsibility before God." At the same time, participants said their activities would not be limited to the battlefield. They also plan to promote their own legislative initiatives, provide legal assistance, and develop medical projects on the home front.

The event at the Refectory Church included a musical concert, and the presentation concluded with a joint prayer and a piano performance.

As previously reported by the UOJ, Korchynskyi called on the Ministry of Culture to "decolonize" the UOC church near the Lavra.
