KDAiS Reports on the Number of Enrolled Students

The Academic Council of KDAiS has summed up the results of the 2026 admissions campaign.

A total of 153 applicants were enrolled in the Kyiv Theological Schools following the 2026 admissions campaign. This was reported by the press service of KDAiS.

At its meeting on August 6, 2026, the Academic Council of the Kyiv Theological Academy and Seminary reviewed the admissions results. The council's work was chaired by the Rector of KDAiS, Archbishop Sylvester of Bilohorod. The entire faculty of the academy and seminary took part in the discussion of the results.

Archbishop Sylvester presented precise data from the entrance examinations. Thirty-eight people were enrolled in the full-time department of the seminary, and 18 applicants were admitted to the academy. Sixty-two people enrolled in the part-time department of the seminary, and 35 students were admitted to the academy.

The results of the entrance examinations were announced in the square in front of the academy's administrative building immediately after the council meeting concluded. The lists of those recommended for enrollment were read out by the Senior Assistant to the Vice-Rector for Educational Affairs, Archimandrite Vladimir (Tsipinio). Afterward, the clergyman held a meeting in an auditorium where he answered first-year students' questions about their future life within the walls of the Kyiv Theological Schools.

Members of the Academic Council also reviewed critiques of a draft textbook for the third year of the seminary, "Heortology. Part One." At the close of the meeting, Archbishop Sylvester thanked the faculty for their work during the admissions campaign.

As the SPJ reported, enrollment in catechetical courses at the Kyiv Theological Schools has begun.
