The Social Department of the UOC Delivered Humanitarian Aid to 100 Families of Displaced Persons
Kyiv staff of the UOC Social Department delivered humanitarian packages to 100 families of internally displaced persons.
On August 8, 2026, in Kyiv, the Synodal Department of the UOC for Social and Humanitarian Affairs delivered aid to 100 families of internally displaced persons. This was reported by the UOC Social Department.
The distribution was organized by the Mercy Mission team, which regularly provides support to people forced to leave their homes due to the war.
The Social Department noted that assistance to displaced persons remains one of the key areas of the Mission's work. Families in need receive humanitarian packages containing essential food items and goods.
Since the beginning of 2026, the Mercy Mission has already delivered 2,500 humanitarian packages. Thousands of families who found themselves in difficult life circumstances have received aid during this time.
In addition, as part of the project «Stories of Those We Help,» Mission staff share accounts of people who have endured great hardships but continue to preserve their faith, hope, and strength of spirit.
Previously, the UOJ reported that the parish of the St. Nicholas Church in Dnipro delivered aid to residents of the Kherson region.
