TCC detained the protodeacon of Neshcherovsky Monastery

The clergyman was seized on his way home from the Sunday Liturgy.

On August 9, 2026, employees of the TCC took away the cleric of the Neshcherovsky Monastery, Protodeacon Alexander Yuvko. This is stated in a Facebook post.

According to the monastery's statement, the protodeacon was taken away while he was returning home after the Sunday service. The authors of the post asked the faithful for prayer support.

No further details — regarding the exact location of the detention, the subsequent actions of the TCC employees, or the fate of the protodeacon — are provided in the post itself.
