More than 60 clergy of the UOC have already contacted the mobilization hotline
Archpriest Nikita Chekman reported that lawyers continue to provide consultations to clergy and their relatives on mobilization issues.
The hotline on the mobilization of clergy of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church has already received 64 inquiries from clergy and members of their families. This was reported by UOC lawyer Archpriest Nikita Chekman.
According to him, clergy are reaching out with questions about military service, obtaining deferments, and other legal aspects related to mobilization.
The hotline lawyers provided qualified consultations on all received inquiries.
Chekman noted that specialists consider each situation individually and provide applicants with legal recommendations taking into account the specific circumstances.
The lawyer reported that the hotline continues to operate and promised to keep the public informed about further developments of the initiative.
As the UOJ reported, lawyers launched this project due to the increasing cases of forced mobilization of clergy. At the listed phone number +38 (093) 000-84-42, clergy receive round-the-clock consultations on issues of conscription, military service, and the protection of their rights when dealing with representatives of territorial recruitment centers (TRC) and other government bodies.
