TCC officers detained a lecturer of the Kharkiv Seminary
Serhiy Zolotukhin stopped responding after being detained by TCC officers.
In Kharkiv, TCC officers detained a lecturer of the Kharkiv Theological Seminary, Serhiy Olehovych Zolotukhin. According to SPJ sources, military commissariat officers forcibly took the lecturer away on the morning of August 15, 2026.
The last time the teacher made contact was at 7:44 in the morning, after which all communication with him ceased entirely. Zolotukhin was in charge of liturgical practice at the seminary and taught liturgics.
He is well known to all students of the theological as well as the choral conducting department of the KhTS. At home, he has a seriously ill father who requires constant outside care. This is already the second lecturer of the Kharkiv Theological School to be detained by the military.
