The Primate of the Czech Church congratulated His Beatitude on the day of his enthronement
Metropolitan Rostislav noted the prayerful ministry and authority of the Primate of the UOC.
The Primate of the Orthodox Church of the Czech Lands and Slovakia His Beatitude Metropolitan Rostislav congratulated the Primate of the UOC, Metropolitan Onuphrius, on the twelfth anniversary of his enthronement. This was reported by the Information and Educational Department of the UOC.
The Czech First Hierarch sent a message to the head of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church. "You, Your Beatitude, adorned with the good exploit of monasticism and wise hierarchal ministry, are for all of us an example of sincere standing for the Truth."
The Primate of the Czech Church emphasized that the Lord has chosen Metropolitan Onuphrius for the primatial ministry in these present difficult times. According to Metropolitan Rostislav, His Beatitude, through his unceasing prayer, high authority, and fatherly love, covers the sorrows of his flock. Furthermore, the wise leadership of the head of the UOC preserves the ship of the Church from internal disorders and divisions.
In conclusion of his message, the Czech Primate wished Metropolitan Onuphrius the all-encompassing help of God. "With prayer I wish Your Beatitude the all-encompassing help of God. May the All-gracious Lord, through the prayers of His Most Pure Mother and all the saints, strengthen You in the Primatial ministry of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church and preserve You in good health for many and blessed years!"
As the SPJ reported, the UOC marks the 12th anniversary of the enthronement of Metropolitan Onuphrius.
