In Kyiv, the UOC Social Department Organized a Holiday for Children from a Rehabilitation Center
The UOC Social Department organized a holiday at the National ExpoCenter for children from a Kyiv rehabilitation center.
On August 14, 2026, in Kyiv, the Synodal Department of the UOC for Social and Humanitarian Affairs organized a holiday for the residents of the Center for Social and Psychological Rehabilitation of Children. This was reported by the official Telegram channel of the UOC Synodal Department.
The event was attended by 30 children together with their caregivers. They visited an entertainment center on the grounds of the National Complex "ExpoCenter of Ukraine," where they saw a dinosaur exhibition, played games, and enjoyed various activities.
Treats were also prepared for the children – juices, burgers, sweets, and fruit. The Social Department noted that many of these children, due to difficult life circumstances, have been left without proper parental care, and therefore attention and support hold special significance for them.
«The most precious thing for us is to see children's eyes light up with joy. We want there to be as many such warm, happy, and unforgettable moments in their lives as possible», – said Anna, a staff member of the department.
Previously, the UOJ reported that humanitarian aid from the Chernivtsi Diocese was delivered to the Sviatohirsk Lavra.
