An OCU religious procession with a brass band took place in the Rivne region.

On August 24, 2026, in the village of Demydivka, Rivne region, an OCU religious procession dedicated to Ukrainian Independence Day was held. A video of the event was published in the Facebook group "ALL pro Demydivshchyna online" by Vasyl Bereziuk, a student of the OCU Rivne Seminary. He titled the video: "Religious procession in Demydivka. Prayer for Ukraine."

At the front of the procession marched a column with church banners, followed by a brass band playing a festive march. Behind the musicians walked a group of OCU clergy. The final destination of the procession was the monument to Taras Shevchenko in the center of the village.

Earlier, the UOJ reported that in Volhynia, an OCU "hierarch" was greeted before a service with a brass band march.
