A Sunday school was consecrated at a UOC church in the village of Mali Dorohostai
On September 30, 2026, in the village of Mali Dorohostai, Mlyniv district, Rivne region, the premises of the Sunday school at the Church of St. Spyridon of Trimythous of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church were consecrated. This was reported by the press service of the Rivne Diocese.
The rite of consecration, attended by young parishioners of the community, was led by the dean of the Mlyniv deanery, Archpriest Vasyl Ivaneyko, co-served by the rector of the church, Archpriest Oleksandr Yashchuk. During the service, prayers were offered for the children who will study in the new premises, for their mentors and teachers, and for all benefactors through whose labors and donations the classroom was built and furnished.
After the prayer, Archpriest Vasyl Ivaneyko noted that the Sunday school is called to be not only a place where children gain knowledge about God, Holy Scripture, and the life of the Church, but also a welcoming center for friendship, creativity, and spiritual growth.
As the UOJ reported, the Rivne Diocese held the "Bible Experts" Olympiad.
