During a pilgrimage trip, the UOC clergy concelebrated with clerics of the Jerusalem Church in the Holy Land.

Priests of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church concelebrated with clergy of the Jerusalem Patriarchate at the night Divine Liturgy at the Church of the Holy Sepulchre in Jerusalem, reports believers of the Chernivtsi-Bukovyna Eparchy of the UOC on Facebook.

The joint service at the main shrine of the Christian world took place during a pilgrimage trip of a UOC group to the Holy Land. The delegation is headed by the chairman of the Pilgrimage Department of the Chernivtsi-Bukovyna Eparchy, Archpriest Andriy Serman.

In addition to the service at the Church of the Resurrection of Christ, the Ukrainian priests concelebrated with clergy of the Jerusalem Orthodox Church at the Tomb of the Most Holy Theotokos in Gethsemane and at the Church of the Nativity of Christ in Bethlehem.

During the trip, the believers also visited holy sites connected with the earthly life of the Savior and the Most Pure Virgin, and bathed in the waters of the Jordan River.

Earlier, the UOJ reported that pilgrims of the Volyn Eparchy met with Jerusalem Patriarch Theophilos.
