The aid for parishioners of Kherson churches was brought on October 16, 2026, by Archpriest Vitaly Hrebeniuk, rector of the St. Nicholas Church on Monastyrskyi Island in Dnipro, together with parishioners.
The guests were met by Archimandrite Athanasius (Burdiukh), head of the eparchial department for charity and social service.
The aid included 120 food packages: sugar, various cereals (oat, buckwheat, rice, wheat), pasta, canned meat, homemade butter and sweets. In addition, more than a ton of fresh vegetables was brought: potatoes, cabbage, carrots, beets and onions. Dairy products were also delivered: kefir, yogurts, ryazhenka and cheese.
