Upper Lavra court hearing postponed
The next court hearing in the Upper Lavra case has been scheduled for November 3.
The court hearing in the case involving the Upper Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra has been postponed. According to preliminary information, the next hearing is expected to take place on November 3, the Fortetsia Lavra Telegram channel reports.
The legal dispute over the right of the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra brotherhood to use the Dormition Cathedral and the Refectory Church has been ongoing since 2023.
Recently, radical activists have stepped up their activities at hearings in the Upper Lavra case, threatening UOC believers and the monastery’s lawyers.
As the UOJ previously reported, a Lavra attorney shared details of an attack against him inside the courtroom.
