NABU investigation suspects: We've got cells reserved for us in hell
NABU has released wiretaps of suspects in criminal organization case discussing their fate after death.
As part of Operation Carthage, NABU and SAP exposed a criminal organization involving an SBU general and police leadership, releasing phone wiretaps with cynical discussions by members of the group about their fate after death.
In the published materials, the gang's co-organizer nicknamed "Criminal" (Andrii Osypov) confesses to the head of the Khimprom drug cartel, nicknamed "Mexican," that he is observing a strict fast and has gone four days on water alone.
"Anyway, our cells in hell are already reserved right next to each other for eternity, so what's the point of tormenting yourself, brother," "Mexican" replied.
"Well, in short, maybe somehow all this that you do, you know, maybe a little bit will be written off, brother," "Criminal" hoped to ease his lot.
"I think they take bribes there too, bro, so now we'll figure out how to get bitcoin in there, and generally, if anything, we'll buy our way out," the cartel head summed up.
Investigators found that the dealers, who talked about buying their way out in hell, had built a huge syndicate coordinating 52 fraudulent call centers with 2,700 operators. For protecting this business and shielding it from inspections, law enforcement officers received $7,000 a month from each call center.
In addition, the criminal group sold drugs through the U-420 network, printed counterfeit euros in an underground workshop, abducted and tortured people with hammers and metal pipes, and also prepared acid attacks on journalists. The gang's unhindered operation was guaranteed by an SBU major general with the call sign "Akim" and heads of National Police departments.
Earlier, the UOJ reported that the prosecutor in Metropolitan Theodosiy's case was named in NABU tapes.
