UOC Moleben on Vladimir Hill was watched by 4.5 million viewers

July 27, Inter TV channel broadcast live the all-Ukrainian Moleben of the UOC on the St. Vladimir Hill in honor of the Day of the Baptism of Rus and the final part of the All-Ukrainian Cross Procession in the Kiev-Pechersk Lavra. The stream had the maximum share of all the day's events on Ukrainian TV, as reported by the TV channel Inter

The coverage of the All-Ukrainian Cross Procession and the Moleben of the UOC were followed by more than 4.5 million viewers of the TV channel Inter on Wednesday, July 27. 

The Moleben for the 18+ audience (Ukraine) had the highest share of all the events on the Ukrainian TV that day. The Moleben coverage was also the best-rated programme of the day on Ukrainian TV (excluding films and TV series) for the 18+ audience (Ukraine). 

The All-Ukrainian Cross Procession on July 27 became the central theme of the program "Morning with Inter" which told stories about difficult pilgrimage to Kiev and was reporting live from the scene. The viewers could also watch an interview with a special guest – Bishop Clement of Irpen. 

July 28, 09:30 am, the Inter TV channel started a live broadcast of the Divine Liturgy at the Holy Dormition Kiev-Pechersk Lavra. The solemn liturgy was held in the square in front of the Dormition Cathedral of the Kiev-Pechersk Lavra. 

Recall, July 27, in Kiev, a solemn meeting of the two branches of the All-Ukrainian Cross Procession of peace, love and prayer for Ukraine took place. This is a true historic event of such a scale: the pilgrims went to the capital from two sides, east and west - from the Holy Dormition Svyatogorsk Lavra and the Holy Dormition Pochaev Lavra. 

During the traditional Moleben on St. in honor of the Day of the Baptism of Rus, the Primate of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church His Beatitude Metropolitan Onufriy of Kyiv and All Ukraine said a prayer for peace in Ukraine. Then many thousands procession with the participation of the clergy and parishioners from all regions of Ukraine went to the Holy Dormition Kiev-Pechersk Lavra.
