On June 25, 2020, the former Metropolitan of Kalavryta and Aigialeia of the Orthodox Church of Greece, Ambrose (Lenis), stated that under the pretext of a vaccine against the coronavirus, a chip with the seal of the Antichrist will be implanted in a person, reports Romfea website.

According to him, “the whole story with coronavirus is nothing more than a plan of demonic forces aimed at bringing humanity to the seal of the Antichrist, i.e. to chip number 666, which will be implanted in our body under the pretext of a vaccine against coronavirus."

The metropolitan believes that, using a variety of methods and slogans, those behind this demonic plan “tried to instill fear and panic”, which will lead to the fact that “once the vaccine has been created, everyone who is afraid of the coronavirus will rush to get it and together with the vaccine they will get the Antichrist’s seal."

“In order to succeed, they closed churches, banned chiming, banned the use of loudspeakers during worship, and managed to cause panic with the false statement that Holy Communion transmits viruses,” says Metropolitan Ambrose.

In this regard, Vladyka asks: “Is it possible for the virus to be transmitted by the sounds of a bell or by the sounds of a loudspeaker that is outside the temple and broadcasts psalms of divine services? If so, why didn’t they also order us to turn off the radio and television in our homes?”

In addition, he recalled the case when the authorities banned the traditional religious procession with the miraculous icon of the Mother of God and “charged 500 euro fine; besides, they removed the license plates from the small agricultural machine on which the icon of the Mother of God was placed.”

However, Vladyka says, “right on the next day, on Saturday, the famous singer from Athens, Alkistis Protopsalti, was driving in a big truck with her ensemble along the streets of Athens with a concert,” and “Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis, violating his general instructions and orders given to the naive Greek people, left his office and went outside to applaud in admiration Madame Protopsalti.”

In other words, the metropolitan emphasizes, "the holy procession with the icon of the Virgin Mary was forbidden because there was a danger of transmission of the coronavirus, yet there was no such danger during the concert of Madame Protopsalti?"

“My Greek brothers, then think who is laughing at whom? Who is deceiving the Greek people and how? Think about it and give the answer to yourselves!" the hierarch calls.

Metropolitan Ambrose is sure that “coronavirus is the invention of the dark forces of the Antichrist” and these forces “will force a person to take the vaccine, with the help of which they will implant us 666, hence they will seal us with the Antichrist”.

In other words, says the hierarch, “they will take us from the hands of God to give us to the devil. Then 666 will be connected to the 5G electronic system, and through this system the tools of globalization will guide our minds, our desires ... our whole life.”

In support of the above, Vladyka noted that in 1981 a book was published in the USA entitled “Eyes of Darkness”, which stated that “by 2020, a very serious lung-related disease will spread throughout the planet, affecting lungs and bronchi. It will resist all known treatments.”

In this regard, Metropolitan Ambrose called on Orthodox Christians to "wake up from a lethargic dream", because "the plan of the world government, atheists and magicians to rule the world is being under way."

Earlier, the UOJ wrote that Nikita Mikhalkov talked about chipization of the population under the guise of vaccination, and on May 19, 2020, the Synod of the Orthodox Church of Moldova adopted at its meeting an appeal to the president, head of parliament and the country's prime minister regarding the legality of possible mandatory vaccination against SARS-COVID- 19.
