A raider who attacked a UOC priest dies in vlg. Lipovets

During the seizure of a church in the village of Lipovets, organized by the former head of the Kagarlyk district of the Kyiv region, a supporter of the OCU, Volodymyr Natykach, died.

Eyewitnesses said that Ivan Semtsov together with Vasyl Tyslenko, head of the Lipovets village, organised a church raid, using their official positions for this purpose.

During a conflict in the churchyard, Natykach snatched a cross from the hands of a UOC priest and threw it to the ground.

According to witnesses, he immediately felt unwell and fell to the ground. All attempts to revive him failed – Natykach died.

From 1984 to 1986, Semtsov was an instructor in the Terebovlia District Committee of the Communist Party of Ukraine.

From 1987 to 1988, he was an instructor at the Agricultural Department of the Kagarlyk District Committee of the Communist Party of Ukraine.

From 1988 to 1990, he worked as an instructor at the Organizational Department of the Kagarlyk District Committee of the Communist Party of Ukraine.

In October 2010, he was elected as an MP of the Bila Tserkva District Council from the Party of Regions.

As reported, the UOC community in Kagarlyk protested against the actions of the local authorities.
