The kozakTv1 journalists recorded a video message from the parishioners of the Khmelnytsky Cathedral, who witnessed the so-called "beating of the military" in the cathedral.

According to the parishioners, a young man entered the church during the service, holding a candle in one hand and a bottle of water in the other. First, this “military man” began to pour water on the priest, hit him in the face, grabbed him by his clothes and pulled him so hard that the stand leaned over and the Gospel fell to the floor.

“Ihor (subdeacon Ihor Slobodian – Ed.) came to the rescue, if not for him, it is not known what would have happened. He protected the whole parish. That military was a provocateur, he came with a woman who filmed everything on camera, on the phone. She didn’t film how he was brawling, she started filming only when Ihor grabbed his hands and began to pacify him,” said the parishioner of the temple.

“He was so eager that it was impossible to pacify him. This is unthinkable. So it's beneficial for someone. Why don't they fight sects like that, but fight in a cathedral, in a holy place. And they show to the whole world that ‘the priests beat the military man.’ He shouted that the fighters are dying, but we continue to go to the MP,” another parishioner said.

“The provocation in the Intercession Cathedral of Khmelnytsky on April 2 will be included in the textbooks of black PR and the list of especially cynical crimes of the Ukrainian authorities. Among dozens of other provocations against the UOC, this one is outstanding. The the performance called ‘priests beat a military man’, planned and sewn with white threads, opened the way to hell, the way for the seizure of the shrine by demon-possessed savages and, moreover, to intimidate everyone who wants to act according to the law, everyone who does not agree with this lie. Provocation, misinformation, storming of the temple and terror toward the unconquered,” the journalists added.

As the UOJ previously reported, the subdeacon of the cathedral in in Khmelnytsky spoke about the "beating of a military man.
